I'm ready to start getting some people who are already trained in first aid through work or interested in taking a course through the Red Cross to let me know who they are so I can compile a list of people ready to work at district events.

Boy Scout Leader Specific for Scoutmasters & Asst. Scoutmasters

The Boy Scout Leader Specific for Scoutmasters & Asst. Scoutmasters is confirmed for 6:30—9:30 PM in room 211 of the St. Joseph Building on November 10. Park in the back and enter at the rear door and take the stairs.

 

 

God and Family Program

John Wesley United Methodist Church will be sponsoring the God and Family Program for 4th and 5th grade Webelos Cub Scouts and Junior Girl Scouts beginning January 2010

The God and Family program created by P.R.A.Y. is nationally endorsed by Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.  If you are not familiar with this program, please see the P.R.SA.Y. Website www.praypub.org or review one of the workbooks which can be found at the Scout Shop.

The program will be held 6 consecutive Sundays from 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM in the Scout Building located at John Wesley United Methodist Church . Cost is $20 per Scout.  Cost includes workbook, materials, light lunch each Sunday and award medal. An adult mentor (parent, friend, etc.) participates in the program alongside the Scout.
